Payment strategy for Technical Debt

Technical Debt is a SDLC concept very similar to the game Tetris.

Often when I try to explain what Technical Debt is, I have to go into analogies. When our interlocutor is not someone with higher technical background (Senior Developers and Technical Managers) I am able only to present the problem through analogies.

And once the communication protocol is established, it is usually easy to explain the monetary value of this debt over the life of the business.
